If dogs could blush, this would be the moment. London Scottie Radio, the podcast service of London Scottie Club, has just been voted a top-30 provider of news in London.
The official category was “30 Best London News Podcasts”. We received the news from the CEO of Feedspot in our inbox this week:
“I would like to personally congratulate you as your podcast London Scottie Radio has been selected by our panelists as one of the Top 30 London News Podcasts on the web.

“We use follower counts as one of the factors to rank the list.
“I personally give you a high-five and want to thank you for your contribution to this world. This is the most comprehensive list of Top 30 London News Podcasts on the internet and I’m honored to have you as part of this!”
London Scottie Radio was voted 28th and our podcast rubbed shoulders with the likes of Global News Podcast, from the BBC World Service, Sky News Daily with Dermot Murnaghan, BBC Radio 4 Six O’Clock News, the London Times news briefing, and the FT News Briefing.
George Matlock, presenter of London Scottie Radio and founder of London Scottie Club, said:
“London Scottie Radio is delighted to have been handpicked for this top-30 and to be among many mainstream, respected major news vendors. But what is especially encouraging is that smaller niche news vendors like from the high society Monocle.com also featured up high in this survey.
“This reinforces the view that in the era of social media, being creative and adaptive is every bit as important as being big and established.
“London Scottie Radio is also the only pet-based podcast to be included in the top-30 of this survey. We hope that this endorsement helps keep the Scottish Terrier breed in the top of the hit parade too.”
London Scottie Radio took a break in late February for personal reasons of the presenter but will return to a more regular cycle soon. It used to publish at least 12 times a year.
