Our latest London Scottie Radio podcast was recorded on Valentine’s Day but is more about apples and pears than roses.
We introduce Stuart Medland, a wildlife painter, who was commissioned to use his special angular style of painting to capture the magic of Scottish Terriers Pikush and Pudding.
Work was discussed in 2018 and pencil sketches followed in 2019. But it was not until early 2020 that the project gathered pace. In August, we met at Lake District to see a full-sized sketch of the planned painting. Since then it has taken five months of work and you can see the final result with the artist in this photo.
