April is here. And with it the dodgy errands at work which turn out to be a spoof. We all know Scotties are comical but sometimes their antics can get to be too much for their owners. Cath Marchbank discusses how to evade a Storm in a Teacup and we celebrate some Scottie birthdays. Happy birthday Robbie, Douglas and Pudding! Well, someone had to be born on April Fool’s Day!

Thank you very much Cath and George! This podcast has been a blessing. When Cath pointed out certain owners wrong reactions I felt she was talking about me haha. I have since been religiously following your advice (relaxing the lead, gently turning her away from bigger dogs walking our way …) and it has already made a huge difference. We are back to long walks in the park where Teacup has been playing with the other small dogs again. She’s also stopped barking at bigger dogs if I turn her away from them (treats help a lot). Thank you once again for your great advice, it’s also nice to know I’m not alone in this.
Thank you Catherine. Scottie MOT podcast is only worth producing if listeners have problems that they share with us, and if those listeners find solutions to those problems through the podcast. We are thrilled to hear that it has been useful advice for Teacup.
Thanks Cath and George, helpful session on walking Scotties on the lead and what to do if they’re reacting to other dogs. My parent’s Scottie sometimes barks at other dogs when we’re on a walk so I’m going to try the techniques you’ve suggested! Thanks
Thank you Amanda. Glad it is helping you. Catherine who posed the original question has already remarked that it is helping her dog Teacup too. We look forward to her feedback.
